Powermax125 Swirl Ring, Plasma Cutter Swirl Ring 220997
Safety:
Proper eye protection (but not gas welding goggles as these do not give UV protection) and face shields are needed to prevent eye damage called arc eye as well as damage from debris, as per Arc Welding. It is recommended to use green lens shade #8 or #9 safety glasses for cutting to prevent the retinas from being "flashed" or burned. OSHA recommends a shade 8 for Arc Current less than 300, but notes that "These values apply where the actual arc is clearly seen. Experience has shown that lighter filters may be used when the arc is hidden by the workpiece."
Leather gloves, apron and jacket are also recommended to prevent burns from sparks and debris.

Technical Support:
Plasma cutting technology
1, setting current
The current is set to 95% of the maximum current through the nozzle. (the higher the current, the greater the hole of the nozzle). The current is too low to produce "soft arc" and cold cut. High current is consumed by nozzle.
2, select the appropriate plasma gas
If the system can use a variety of or two kinds of plasma gas, according to the material and cutting thickness of the use of a most suitable gas. (see gas selection table) and confirm whether the gas pressure and flow are correct or not.
3, select the appropriate two gas
(see gas selection table) and confirm whether the pressure and flow of gas / water are correct.
4, cutting torch and workpiece perpendicular to
If the cutting torch and the material is not vertical, will cut out the angled slot. From the two aspects to check if the torch and workpiece angle of 90 degrees.
